Associate Technical Program Manager
About the Role:
The technical program manager would be responsible for managing various technical projects in order to build and improve PayU’s products and services.
What you’ll be doing:
You will be running technical program, or assist in the management of these projects related to the payments domain
You will be using backend development skillset like programming language and database knowledge in abstracting the datasets and filtering out the noise data which will be required for day-to-day work.
You will be dealing with huge amount of payment transaction-related data to infer the pattern to figure out the improvements.
You will work on assessing the feasibility of the systems and products and improving on the same using agile methodology.
You would be developing detailed project plans and managing all implementation processes prioritization, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and timely delivery within budget constraints.
You will run the agile session and the development process in conjunction with several internal stakeholders and the development team.
You will communicate project expectations to team members and senior stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
What are we looking for:
BTech (CS, EC, IT) from Tier 1/2 institute or Btech (Chemical) from IITs
4-7 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of payments domain is required
Proficiency in backend languages of Java, Python or PHP is mandatory
Experience with different RDBMS and No SQL databases like MySQL, mongo, etc.
Knowledge and experience in data science would be a plus
3+ years of hands on Agile experience.
Excellent technical knowledge and an understanding of the product lifecycle.
Great organizational skills and a high level of oral/written communication skills.
Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems.
Ability to prioritize workload across multiple projects simultaneously and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues.
