This software engineering role will design, develop and maintain key Fraud Detection and prevention product features targeted towards availability, performance, and scalability of services. The role expects a high standard of engineering excellence with some practical experience or at least strong conceptual understanding in building and maintaining internet-scale applications and services.
To help with this, we are always looking for strong technologists who are passionate to solve large scale highly complex computer engineering problems, in a repeatable and maintainable way. As a member of our team, you will work directly with our Product Owners and Domain Technical Leads to create outstanding solutions and deliver incredible products.
As a core participant of our team, you?ll estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. You need to be dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences, improve existing products, and develop next generation of fraud detection and prevention systems.
3+ years of experience developing software, primarily with JAVA or Python
Deep understanding of and extensive experience applying advanced object-oriented design and development principles
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Experience developing data-driven applications, including strong data architecture and SQL development skills
Experience collaborating with business users to define the key business requirements and translate them into process/technical solutions
Experience in Unix based development environment is a plus
Knowledge on scripting languages like Unix Shell, Perl is a plus
Experience applying software design patterns, data structures, algorithms.
Experience in application performance fine tuning is a plus.
Experience with unit testing and tools
Experience using industry standard software development tools (IDE / Version Control / Continuous Integration)
Strong debugging and problem resolution skills
Eperience in BigData technologies like Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL Databases is a plus.
