What you’ll do day-to-day

Responsibilities include demonstrating accountability by tracking progress, resolving dependencies, identifying issues, evaluating risks and communicating status to Group level Tech management and project stakeholders; Facilitating extensive collaboration between engineering management and DESCO stakeholders to help conceptualize tech solutions and the end product; Planning and managing product & solution development scope, stages, timeline, facilitate strategic technical decisions. ; Responsible for accuracy of data and commentary when reporting on high-visibility projects to DESCO stakeholders, Senior Managers & Group Heads; Working with stakeholders and build the product vision, and help conceptualize the business objectives for the engineering team; Diagnosing and resolving technical issues reported by users, managing prioritization and delivery of defect fixes; Providing updates to quarterly roadmap planning and tracking and MD reporting; Working with developers, quality testers and stakeholders to ensure that products are delivered on time and within quality specifications; Escalating capacity issues to Engineering management for resolution; Documenting processes in consultation with the development team, deploying engineering best-practices in line with industry standards and facilitating knowledge sharing sessions between groups; Tracking and managing interface level dependencies during product/ solutions integration cycles; Organizing/aligning multiple teams for delivery and drive execution while identifying, reporting and managing milestones/KPIs; Actively seek ways to standardize and improve efficiencies in execution.

Who we’re looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Technology Management, Business Management, or similar.

6-8 years of experience in technical program management, preferably in the FinTech industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage 360 people related to the programs including stakeholders, development teams, vendors and senior management.

Advanced knowledge of the full life-cycle of software development, expertise preferred in agile frameworks.

Working knowledge of financial instruments and exposure to its related data analysis, will be preferred.

Experience in supporting product/ solutions development and providing leadership.

Extensive experience in software product engineering, deployment, integration, and issue triage/resolution.

Experience in identifying and defining operational (process and application performance) KPIs, measurement and reporting, and driving structured/ long-term continuous improvement across engineering performance.
