We’re looking for a talented Product Manager to join our Tableau CRM apps & templates team focusing on building out the world’s best analytics technologies for CRM. You will have the ability to empower a vast user base to make data driven decisions as an essential part of their daily workflow. This role focuses on building apps that help users get to insights faster, and accelerate their transition to data-driven culture powered by AI. Candidates must have a passion for building great products. This is a unique opportunity to be able to bring new game changing products to the market working in a fast paced environment.

The Product Manager role has both inbound and outbound responsibilities. Inbound responsibilities consist of working with the technology team to deliver net new world-class cloud computing Analytics tools and application driven by customers, prospects, advisory teams and internal product experts. Outbound responsibilities include meeting with customers, prospects (enterprise and SMB) and industry analysts to discuss product requirements and the product roadmap. This position requires not only strong analytical skills, but also understand business-context that enables analytics & AI across our Customer’s business applications.

Drive usage and adoption of existing portfolio of Analytics Apps that cover line of business, productivity and industry use cases
Partner with other product managers to successfully guide product design, implementation, release, testing, and maintenance while overseeing everyday scrum
Identify and prioritize business requirements that will have greater impact on activation, adoption and growth
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and write user stories with story-level acceptance criteria.
Manage product backlog and sprint priority including creating user stories and defining Definition of Done
Have sense of ownership and responsibility for the products that he/she owns in terms of driving features/functionality/roadmap and evangelize the value internally and externally thru demos, webinars, blogs etc.
Foster relationships with other Product managers, gain deeper understanding of Analytics Platform capabilities, gaps and roadmap
Evangelize product features and functionality to internal sales, marketing and customer success and external customers by gaining intimate knowledge of current product(s) offerings
Work with other critical functional departments, such as data, research, sales, marketing, and SEs to identify user needs and business opportunities and successfully bring delightful solutions to market.
Assess market trends, competitive landscape, and the overall state of the industry – Apply the learnings into building product backlog and roadmap
Develop a deep understanding of our customer segments and build the best product user experiences on their behalf through market research, experimentation, user testing, and data analysis
Continuously measure and monitor usage metrics to drive customer research and product enhancements
Experience / Skills Required
High energy, drive, and a passion for building great products
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy or developing analytical products/ applications
Excellent organizational, analytic, and communication skills and an attention to detail.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Analytics product or BI tool experience
Deep understanding of the CRM (Sales, Service and Marketing) processes and business flows, and experience on applying analytics to these processes
Proven ability to create functional designs, wireframes, product demonstrations and proof of concepts for new product ideas and marketing events
B.S. degree (Computer Science, MIS or related degree preferred)
Having an eye for detail as well as a great design instinct having worked closely with UX to build great experiences in the past is very important
Ability to prioritize and politely say “No” to a litany of good ideas that are distracting your team from working on great ideas.
Nice to Have
Experience growing, optimizing, and monetizing consumer products
Building products that use AI/ ML technologies to drive business workflows
Extensive data visualization knowledge
Cloud computing or SAAS experience.
Demonstrated experience in the agile software development process.
Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming customer needs into an actionable product vision and requirements definition.
MBA or Technical Masters Degree
Domain knowledge in CRM, Service, or Marketing, particularly as it relates to analytics.
