About the Role
Fasten your helmet and climb aboard if you’re ready to be our next Product Manager for the Customer Incentives team responsible for all kinds of rewards, promotions and loyalty offerings for our end customers. The product portfolio currently comprises discounting products, the GoJek Loyalty Program and Internal Tooling for disbursement of capital. As a PM in the Incentives Vertical you will be helping in creating delightful incentive/ discounting experiences such as vouchers, subscriptions, gamified journey based rewards, gifting mechanism etc to increase user stickiness to GoJek. And as a key member of the Product Management team, you’ll collaborate closely with a talented troop of Product Engineers, Strategy, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Tech, Design and Operations within Gojek.
What You Will Do
Deliver. You do more than talk – you put things on paper, get your hands dirty, and execute with precision make sure products and features are launched
Contribute towards your stream’s long-term product strategy, half yearly OKRs, and strategic initiatives to ensure delivery of key business goals in collaboration with stakeholders from Engineering, Product, Business, Growth and Finance
Deep dive into data and identify right problem statements and right segments to target and take experimentation driven product development approaches
Capture insights from merchant-partner feedback, experiments, research, and data analysis to identify trends and pinpoint the drivers behind them; translate these insights into tactical solutions to improve our products
Be in the details. Know your team’s work and partner team’s work in depth and understand impact for your team and stakeholders
Define scalable processes for the team to follow resulting in gains in efficient deliver, better communication and feedback cycles
Your work will involve you to establish synergies with a multitude of team’s across Gojek – Data Science, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Growth, and our Product Groups from Transport and Food and beyond
What You Will Need
At least 3 years of experience working as a product manager, ideally working on data products; a Bachelor’s / Masters degree (or equivalent), preferably in engineering or management
Strong communication skills, the ability to summarize complex and technical topics to a wide range of audiences
You are a self starter, you love to understand systems inside out, and make it your mission to deliver quality products

Brownie points to folks who’ve built or worked on rewards/incentive/loyalty programs in the past
Able to work with agile product development teams and able to identify new ways to help your team be effective. Experience in working with distributed teams is desired
Data-Driven First: When making decisions you leverage technical resources and data to support hypotheses; You are skilled at SQL and understand basic statistics, but you also know when to step back from the rabbit hole of ‘too many metrics’
About the TeamThe Customer Platforms group oversees the core user flows within Gojek’s Customer Apps which services tens of use cases to millions of users. The Customer Incentives team, a vertical of the Customer Platforms group with multiple pods, is in charge of the rewards, promotions, and loyalty programs offered to our end customers. Our team is based in Bangalore and is made up of engineering managers, Product Managers, Developers (Mobile and Backend), and QAs. Over the last year, our team has been working on introducing a brand new loyalty platform within Gojek, while working with other internal product teams and external groups to build an extensible platform. We’ve also been focused on improving and scaling our rewards and benefits platforms to support the growth of the organization, devising more effective and relatable strategies to increase the net transactions enacted by users across the platform. Currently, this pod has been busy working on a project surrounding subscriptions and user journey improvements, with the goal of enabling our users to better manage various benefits and rewards. Combating remote work has brought us even closer, with frequent catch-ups over tea and sharing ways we have been keeping ourselves sane. Along with our desire to utilize smart technology and innovative engineering strategies to make people’s lives easier, our team also bonds over our shared love for reading, gaming, and drinking lots of coffee. We work hard and play hard, and believe it or not, we actually enjoy each other’s company.
