Job Description

Order Management Cloud is part of the Supply Chain Cloud product family. It captures and orchestrates fulfillment of orders across the order-to-cash process in BtoC and BtoB industries.

As a Principal Product Strategy Manager you will support key product functionality as an individual contributor within the Order Management Cloud solution set which includes: 1) features for capturing of orders including analytics and integration with CPQ and eCommerce applications, 2) orchestration of fulfillment including integration with other SCM applications and 3) incorporating new technologies such as IoT, machine learning, chat bots and blockchain into the Order Management feature set.

The Principal Product Strategy Manager will be a domain expert, product champion and customer advocate for one or more of these functional areas and how they integrate to enable the quote-to-cash process

Responsibilities: You will be responsible for leading the development of company requirements for one or more functional areas of Order Management Cloud. The responsibilities include:

Identify and prioritize customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape.

Help create business plans and monitor the execution of the business plan against pre-defined success metrics.

Write product business requirement documents and ensure successful execution of the requirements through the product release lifecycle.

Help ensure that Oracle sales/consulting have the tools to sell and implement a product(s) by supporting pre/post sales activities including customer visits and creating content/schedules for field product training.

Work with field and product marketing to identify and execute lead generation activities such as campaigns and regional seminars.

Act as a functional expert for a specific product(s).

Work with product development for applications in the order-to-cash flow, sales, marketing and partners to develop new products or enhance functionality of existing product(s) or product line(s).

Foster relationships with customers and provide help where needed to make them successful with Order Management Cloud

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience with order management products or domain

Lead a specialized area of Order Management Cloud which may have diverse functional elements.

Interact with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers including senior management.

Demonstrate leadership and communication skills

Present product and solutions to customers

Software business management experience.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

BA/BS degree.

Beneficial Skills / Experience:

Experience creating product business plans and presenting the plans to multiple constituents including other product strategists, product management, development and upper management.

Demonstrated ability to recognize issues that impact the project and communicate these issues to senior team members in a timely fashion.

Familiarity or implementation experience with order-to-cash processes that cross multiple applications including CRM, SCM, ERP.

Business experience with the quote-to-cash process in the High Tech, Media, Retail or Manufacturing industries.

Product experience with order management applications and competitive products

Sales & marketing experience

Experience with integration technology and tools

Familiarity with products/solutions that typically surround Order Management such as product lifecycle management, customer master data, inventory, shipping, contracts, financials, warehouse management

Proficient in REST concepts and EDI

Familiarity with agile product development, AI, Chat Blockchain
