We are seeking top performing operations program managers to join the Microsoft Advertising Trust and Safety Team who will work on the front-lines to identify and fight fraud, malware and other unsafe advertising and supply practices.
Ads Trust & Safety Operations team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect our marketplace, users and advertisers from various abuse patterns across all ad types. As an ATS operations manager you will work globally and cross-functionally with Ads Trust and Safety engineers and product managers to manage human moderation workflows. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence and delivering comprehensive operations. You will lead the day-to-day vendor operations and manage vendor performance with metrics data-driven decisions and industry leading vendor management techniques. You will manage and deliver the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the aligned Ads workflows. You are also capable of leading strategic and time-sensitive projects. You will build and maintains strong remote, virtual relationships with a global team and partners by using excellent communication skills, big data analysis, and expert data visualization to document and present complex problems/solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Manage vendor operations for human moderation workflows with direct responsibility of managing quality, throughput and SLAs
Prepare various documentation and training guidelines for optimizing and improving human moderation processes
Ensure Microsoft Advertising policy interpretation is done correctly and enforced at scale.
Set-up new workflows to improve the overall quality of our vendor operations and make our products safer.
Lead strategic, large scale, complex and/or time-sensitive projects from concept to launch.
Influence engineering tools and platform improvements by identifying root cause trends for False Positives/ False Negatives and submitting user cases documenting tool, data or platform gaps and solve operational challenges at scale.
Partner closely with engineers to surface risky business models or cultural nuances which should be accounted for through new market additions, new oversight processes or augmenting platform features.
Continuously deploys creative, scalable solutions to supplement existing engineering platform risk detections to limit risk and exposure until new platform features are deployed.
Review and influence new Microsoft Advertising feature release plans to identify various Operational Readiness needs (reviews new releases and coordinates with Release Management).
Bachelor’s degree in computer science. MBA in operations preferred.
Experience in SQL and other reporting tools and techniques.
Business process improvement and project management experience.
Experience leading projects in a global setup.
Certification in Six Sigma (e.g., black belt) and Project Management.
5 years of program or project management experience.
Experience managing vendor operations or working in a vendor environment.
Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
