Senior Product Manager – Credit, Flipkart Wholesale
We are looking for a rockstar Sr. PM who can own the credit product area within flipkart wholesale. The role entails managing the end to end credit lifecycle including underwriting, onboarding, utilization and collections.
Product Managers play a pivotal role in leveraging technology for providing an exceptional customer experience. With the analytical and problem-solving mindset, they get deeper into the function/problem space, work with stakeholders and partners to develop a wider perspective, take Outside-In view of the problems and create a vision, strategy and roadmap of how software can solve immediate needs/wants, setting the stage for the right disruptions/innovations of the future. Once envisioned, they inspire and align stakeholders – business, operations and finance, and through engineers transform their vision into reality.
What you’ll do:
Own the strategy and roadmap for a key product/business area.
Manage all aspects of a successful software or technology product throughout its lifecycle including product strategy development, customer insights/needs, and requirements definition
Partner with the other business leaders to define and drive substantial parts of the customer experience for the respective categories.
Defines the product acceptance testing criteria, ensures that they are met; plan for and ensures that product (and features) are appropriately used by operations and BD team
Promptly resolves issues faced during operationalization by working with different stakeholders
What you’ll need:
10+ years of product management experience along with an academic background of BE Computer Science or related stream, MBA or equivalent recommended.
Past background building financial products is desirable but not mandatory.
Entrepreneurial mindset- acumen to guide our goals through roadmaps and define new product features and strategies.
Excellent communication skills to present data in most ambiguous situations and be able to operate.
Have a track record of building successful teams alongside being a customer champion.
Passion for technology pro-active in understanding and developing various applications, must have used technology to solve business problems.
Knowledge in developing elegant and simple feature functionalities which deliver the world-class user experience.
