Are you an innovative product manager who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment and loves working with the best technology teams in the world? Do you think of creative solutions to complex problems and solve them? Are you interested in building tools and services to provide a comprehensive, Big Data platform for all Salesforce products and services across our entire enterprise? If so this product manager role is for you.

You will work with product managers and service owners to define, build and execute on key initiatives to define the vision, execute on strategy, and engage teams across Salesforce, enabling developers to create large-scale big data solutions including data ingestion, processing and analytics, and storage. You will build meaningful relationships with teams and management in many Salesforce business units to drive implementation, execution, metrics, and sustainability of program objectives that allow operations to continuously improve our ability to protect and respond to incidents and events across our world-wide footprint.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver on a coherent strategy, including design, user requirements, market assessments, scalable delivery plan, and marketing strategy.
Engage customers, partners and internal stakeholders to determine business requirements, technical considerations and strategic objectives.
Manage product backlog and sprint priority including creating user stories, defining project exit criteria
Collaborate with PM, engineering and operations peers to deliver strategic and tactical plans and objectives.
Strive to continuously improve current service visibility, incident response and insights, quality and capabilities through new services or processes.
Serve as a product owner on the scrum team(s) and work with engineers to deliver a quality product on time.
Engage with our partner and customer communities to drive customer enthusiasm and product adoption. Working closely with key customers to envision, plan, and execute along with assigned architecture and consulting resources.

Experience/Skills Required:

5+ years of solid product management experience with a proven track record of building awesome products from concept to delivery
Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap
Top notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, and evangelizing product strategy
Strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills to align the organization around prioritization and delivery of product roadmap
Exceptional time management skills to effectively juggle multiple demanding priorities
Strong user experience / design sense
Well-developed leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others.
Background in big data technologies such as Apache Kafka, HBase, Apache Spark, or Presto/Trino.

Desired Skills:

Expertise in public cloud services and/or cloud native architectures
Expertise in building a cloud service from scratch and scaling it to millions of users
Thorough understanding of infrastructure lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile or similar methodologies
Understanding of secure software development lifecycle from coding to deployment
Masters Degree in Computer Science or MBA
