The Selling Partner Experience team is looking for a high-caliber Senior Product Manager to drive various projects with strategic significance and high exposure. As a Product Leader, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on strategy for Amazon’s India venture www.amazon.in. You will own the “The Next Million Selling Partner Experience” charter and drive initiatives including, but not limited to, 1) Unlocking greenfield selling opportunities (enable sellers without regular GST to use digital commerce, Social selling, Reselling etc.) that are new to Amazon, 2) Defining and creating a chatbot based journey for sellers, 3) Unblocking Indian Language sellers to operate on Amazon, 4) Enabling differentiated Voice/Video/Visual Experiences for low tech capability sellers. You will own the entire acquisition, engagement and success funnels of this cohort.
In this role, you will be the lead strategist defining product vision and strategy from scratch. You will work with Senior Leaders and worldwide Business Stakeholders to drive thought leadership of this area. You will work directly with dedicated engineering teams to drive product development and influence fundamental technical design decisions. You will apply both business and technical acumen in a fast-paced, ambiguous and innovative environment.
Our ideal candidate has delivered complex, multi-faceted products in the past, is extremely data-driven and has the written and spoken ability to engage with and influence executive-level cross-functional stakeholders. Successful candidates will demonstrate experience balancing data analysis, product & program management, and customer/seller communication. The candidate must have sound business judgment and the ability to think strategically about this fast growing business, while having the ability to dive into the tactical details. Operating in a rapidly changing environment will require the candidate to be adept at dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations.
· Product Strategy and Vision: Continually assess the needs of sellers, market trends, competitive opportunities and threats in defining and evolving the product strategy for upcoming sellers. Define both long term strategy and short term plans to achieve the product vision and deliver business results. You will also contribute to the overall business and marketing strategy in your area of focus.
· Roadmap Planning: Ensure consistent execution of product lifecycle processes from concept to launch. Provide value-based prioritization of product development initiatives to ensure maximum ROI and market-driven alignment. Deliver world-class innovation in features, usability and product performance in consistent cadence of releases. Manage a cross-functional process for prioritizing, delivering and launching major product releases.
· Requirements Definition: Develop comprehensive product plans, incorporating market requirements, define the competitive arena, and establish the objectives, strategies, and actions required to achieve business goals. Produce high quality requirements documents (BRD, PRFAQ) and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver key capabilities on time and on budget. Writes user stories to communicate customer needs in an Agile development environment.
· Product Roll-out: Create and execute go-to-market plans for new features. Monitor key performance metrics to ensure product performance and identify optimization opportunities. Partner closely with the cross functional leaders to drive adoption and ensure processes for on boarding that are easy and intuitive.
· Seller Success: Drive product innovation to improve self-service capabilities for sellers to achieve and grow online sales success. Drive innovations to all elements of the seller experience to improve their business results post implementation.
This position is based in Bangalore, India.


· 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is preferred
· 8+ years of work experience with at least 3 years of experience working in product/program management or driving new initiatives and projects.
· Exposure to data reporting tools like SQL and R
· Has managed critical operational processes, with end to end business responsibility.
· Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business “by the numbers”. Must be metrics-driven.
· Strong process definition and optimization skills; proven ability to define effective, efficient, and scalable processes and drive continuous improvement through root cause identification and defect elimination.
· Experience in a results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions. Strong analytical, mediation and problem resolution skills.
· Must be metrics-driven. Have a background in quantitative decision making, ability to drive business/operations metrics, and driving adoption of different tools and resources.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills. Skilled in collaborative management environment, succeeding through regular meetings and clear formal and informal communication with members of various teams.
· Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel.


· 6+ years of e-commerce, marketing, product, program management, consulting, entrepreneurship or related experience with at least 3+ years of experience in Product Management.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
· MBA from a reputed institute is preferred
· Proficient knowledge of Product Management principles and processes management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services in ecommerce, retail, logistics, supply chain, internet products or related fields.
· Experience defining market and product requirements, working with engineering organizations to rapidly deliver high-impact capabilities to market.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategy and present complex information clearly and concisely.
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive management of product with proficiency in SQL.
· Proven ability to deliver first class customer experiences with a deep understanding of UX best practices.
· High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
· Collaborative working style. Must work well in a team environment.
· Must have bias for action and strong work ethic.
