Zeta intends to replace many legacy systems in use by banks for processing payments. Banks need to leapfrog into an era of connected devices and omnipresent commerce. Banking should become an integral part of the commerce and enterprise systems, thereby enabling seamless consumer and business transactions. The average number of interactions an account holder may have with a bank would increase to 12-15 per day in the near term from the current average of 3-4 transactions per month. These could grow to an unimaginably large number in future. Most banking systems aren?t designed for this scale. In many ways, these systems are limiting the imagination of possibilities. We want this changed fundamentally, in an inter-operable and regulatory compliant manner.
We build large-scale transaction processing systems that can work with many current and future payment networks. We build applications that help banks realize the value of this new approach early. We help banks to rapidly deliver the value of these applications to their customers.
What is the Job like?
PlanningDefine the product and solutions basis customer requirements
Execution: Coordinate actions across the org to enable its success
Drive solution implementation and post production adoption
Formulating product strategy factoring industry trends, market, and competition
ExecutionOwn the roadmap for the switch product around Customer customisation requirements , Customer implementations , Product & feature backlog , Parity or superiority with competition
Design the system in line with open banking standards and ISO 20022 guidelines
Ensure that the requirements specifications are defined and delivered unambiguously for the engineering teams to develop and deliver the software.
DevelopmentFunctionally translate and map the business domain to a technological solution domain
Collaborate with engineers and architects to arrive at the detailed solutions and implementation plans
Manage the delivery timelines and scope
CollaborationEvangelize and communicate the implementation plan
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand and eliminate obstacles to adoption and usage
Work with Marketing to bring new features to life on various communication touch points.
Risk identificationHighlight any long-term risks that may originate as a consequence of design or architectural choice made in the overall system design leading to an incomplete solution mapping and propose enhancements
SLA & GovernanceIdentify and fix root causes around technical errors
Ensure that SLA?s committed to issuers are upheld and any lapses are identified within permissible time frame
Who should apply for this role?At least 8 years of experience in Credit Card products
Should have a track record of building & shipping high quality payment products owning the process end to end
Adapting to complex situations with an aim to achieve business goals
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
An engineering / technical background that will allow you to reason about product trade-offs and make good choices with minimal inputs from engineers
Conceive possibilities, think big picture, but deliver on the details
