The AWS Computer Vision Data Platform team is expanding to Chennai! We are looking for talented support engineers who has the passion to tackles ambiguous and challenging problems by bringing cutting edge deep learning technologies to customer facing computer vision products like Amazon Rekognition (https://aws.amazon.com/rekognition/) and Amazon Textract (https://aws.amazon.com/textract/).
The mission of the AWS Computer Vision Data Platform team is to build an end to end data platform (data collection, selection/active learning, annotation and training) and feature specific annotation tooling to deliver high quality computer vision training datasets at scale. The team owns the systems and pipelines that enable data acquisition, ingestion, classification, visualization, annotation, training and evaluation and active learning.
We are looking for engineers who can use scripting and programming skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues across our array of products. You will also own production system software deployments and ongoing software upgrades for our frontend and backend services. Support engineers troubleshoot, debug, evaluate and resolve computer-identified alarms, perform software deployments and migrations, host management and automate routine operational tasks. The position requires a combination of strong troubleshooting, technical and communication skills and includes a mix of on call and operational tasks and may involve small-project software development work. Support Engineers also develop tools and automation to achieve human free operations. They use the right tool for the job, and modify software in a way that leverages the overall system architecture.
