Interested in working with the latest technology in the cloud computing space to impact millions of people? The Amazon People Engine team is building cutting edge solutions to revolutionize the way we think about Human Resources. Our mission is clear: We seek to be the most technically proficient HR organization in the world.

Join us in building innovative technology products using Amazon Web Services to meet the complex and unique demands of managing more than 840,000 employees globally and hiring more than 100,000 employees in four weeks. We dive deep to insist on the highest standards in architecture, coding, testing, deploying and maintaining every aspect of our offerings.

If you’re thrilled by the idea of ownership, passionate about creating new features and services from scratch, and comfortable with the pace of shipping software in cycles measured in weeks, we would love to connect with you.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager responsible for driving the definition, design, development, and launch of the key initiatives associated with the most complex integration system. The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, creative, demonstrated technical leader and hands-on contributor with superior analytical and program management abilities. As a TPM, you will be responsible for leading your programs by driving strategy and engaging with launch partners to deliver on large software projects end-to-end. You will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams. This position also involves regular communication with senior management, cross-organizational leadership and influence, and complex project management.

Qualified candidates have extensive experience defining projects and programs, collecting requirements, leading the development of detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets; as well as analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization. They must also have a demonstrated ability to build, lead, coach, and mentor high performing, cross-functional teams. Finally, qualified candidates must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or multiple competing priorities
