At Nykaa, we are in a unique position to change the way people shop for lifestyle products in the digital and physical world. We’re looking for UX Researchers to refine Nykaa’s experience across current and new projects in the pipeline. We have an ongoing cycle of revamping our entire experience across web and mobile. There are countless UX challenges and tons of pixels for you to push. We’re looking for you to join our fantastic team. Our Design team crafts exceptional omnichannel shopping experiences for millions of users by combining research and data. We pour all our energies in keeping the result simple and focus on an iterative user-centred design process to develop our products. We’re a close-knit group, from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures.
Our team is scaling, and we currently sit out of two locations in India – Mumbai and Gurgaon.
Conduct primary and secondary user research.
Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research.
Perform market and ethnographic research.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics.
Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies.
Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
Perform usability studies with consumers.
Ask questions, gather data, and analyze data.
Use a diverse set of UX research tools.
Hands-on Skills (must Have)
Surveys, User Interviews, Focused Groups, Card Sorting,Contextual Inquiry, Persona, Competitive Analysis, Point-of view Canvas, Usability testing, Task Analysis, Scenarios and story-boarding, Empathy Maps
Passion for diving deep in consumer behavior and cognitive science
Recognised UXR/HFI/HCI certifications.
Experience researching for complex systems across Mobile and /or Desktop applications.
Knowledge of analytics
